Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
60g rolled porridge oats
1 banana, mashed
2 medjool dates, finely chopped
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
150ml semi-skimmed milk
FOR THE TOPPINGS
1 tsp flaked almonds
Handful of fresh berries (I used blueberries and strawberries)

Banana and date overnight oats

If you've got a sweet tooth, this is the perfect on-the-go breakfast for you. The overnight oats are naturally sweetened with medjool dates, banana and cinnamon and only take a couple of minutes to make the night before.

    1. Mix together the porridge oats with the mashed banana, medjool dates, chia seeds and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in the milk and pour into a jar or container.

    2. Seal and refrigerate overnight. Serve topped with flaked almonds and fresh berries.
