Did you know that each day, a person who eats a vegan diet saves 1,100 gallons of water, 45 pounds of grain and 30 sq ft of forested land? The environmental impact is huge – and the health benefits are far reaching. As well as increasing your energy levels and lowering cholesterol, a plant-based diet has been shown to reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, dementia and some cancers.
